Designed back in 1964 by Walter Musciano - kitted by Scientific

The first image is of my Big Otto freshly painted made from the same short kit I am listing here.

The plans are available free for download on various sites on the net but they are copies of the original and the scale images for the parts are really sketches which makes accuracy a bit difficult.   I took the time to draw each part in CAD and cut them out with the laser to insure a more perfect fit.

You will need various other items to complete the plane, such as leading and trailing edge material, scrap balsa for supports and braces, control hardware, some landing gear wire and a wheel.  Don’t forget the covering (I like traditional real silk and dope/epoxy paint). Oh yah, don’t forget you’ll need an engine too. :-)

The decals are as close to original as I could get, and will need to be cut out.  To apply to your finished model, peel off backing and stick.  Once applied, they will need to be fuel-proofed.  I like using the KlassKote Clear gloss epoxy.

Delivery: two options, economy or priority / your choice.  Although the listing shows extended delivery date, truth is I get these done in a day or so.  The extended date is just in case we have another shortage of balsa wood again.

I do not accept returns due to the nature of the item, these are made to order custom items.  If I forgot something or sent you an incorrect part, I will surely make that right.

I enjoy resurrecting these obsolete and vintage planes of my youth and earlier.  That is why I do this.

Thanks for stopping by.  Ask any questions and please, if you would like a short kit that I do not carry, please ask as I am always looking for great planes to add to my inventory.
