Making small books, bookplates, writing radio dramas, etc.
He contributed to the development of children's culture in Aomori Prefecture by publishing children's magazines and holding fairy tale parties.
From an early age, he had a weak constitution and tended to miss school, but he started woodblock printing in junior high school.
Together with fellow students Ryozo Neichi and Takuji Kakizaki, he published the print magazine "Ryokujumu".
Junichiro Sekino is also at the same time.
After 1931, he studied under Junzo Kon, Shiko Munakata, and Unichi Hiratsuka.
