Nambu ironware is carefully manufactured based on reliable techniques cultivated through tradition.
The inner surface is rust-proofed with an oxide film formed by the traditional technique of kama-yaki finishing, which elutes iron containing high levels of divalent iron, which is easily absorbed into boiled water. It also removes chlorine from tap water, making it more mellow and tasty.
