These items have dirt and wear from use and storage and appear to be in good preowned condition overall. The initials POE are engraved one or two times per piece. There is rust on the exterior of the box and the handle. The moisture got into the box and left rust stains on the pieces and box. The majority of the sockets look like they didn't see all that much use and the set looks like it would clean up very nicely. The ratcheting mechanism is a lot more crisp when the directional switch is to the right than the left, but I would think it needs a good cleaning and oiling after sitting unused for so long. The set is missing the 1" and 1 3/16" sockets to make it a complete run from 1" to 2"  and the adapter is Snap-on but it appears to be period.
