The Orion-Tr is ideal for use in dual-battery scenarios, where an alternator and starter battery charge a leisure battery. It utilised a fully programmable battery charge algorithm, and is compatible with smart alternators. It can detect when the engine is running also to adapt the charging procedure.

The Orion-Tr regulates the charging process with an efficient 3-stage charging algorithm. This includes a bulk, absorption and float procedure, with programmable control to suit different battery technologies. The Orion-Tr Smart is supports Bluetooth, which enables wireless monitoring, control and software updates. A relay can also operated via a two-pole connector on the unit, enabling on-off control.

With short-circuit and high temperature protection

The Orion-Tr is protected from short circuits, reducing the chance of damage from faulty wiring. They can also be connected in parallel to increase the output of your current. It features IP43 protection when installed with the screw terminals downwards, too, and uses an input fuse to offer additional protection.
