New in the factory box and packing, however, there is no paperwork originally packed with this unit. I guess you are expected to be smart enough to know all there is to know about it.
Don't forget to remove the carboard "stabilizer" under the platform before you try to weigh anything. The contoured stainless steel platform can hold bagged items, fries, tacos and such. That platform is about 4¼" wide, 1¼" front to back at the bottom of the trough, flares out to about 2¾" at the top and is about 2" high.
