HERE WE HAVE: An old gas light made by Coleman Lamp & Stove Company! The bottom notes it as an "Instant Lite" although I don't see any model numbers. Base looks like brass and it's non-magnetic. The center portion is wood.
From what I understand, Coleman only used the "Lamp & Stove Company" name for a few years in the 1920s, so this is presumably from that time period.
Comes with the pictured rod that screws into the top.
CONDITION: Being sold as is, for parts or repair! Untested. Needs mantles. Will ship with an empty tank. There are a few dings scattered about and surface scratches, scuffs, stains, and surface corrosion throughout. I don't have a shade for it and I'm not really sure how one is meant to attach.Will come as shown, so please see photos!
MEASUREMENTS: With the rod screwed into the top, it's about 31" tall and 17 1/2" tall without it. Base is about 8 1/8" in diameter.
