The 6061 aluminum I-beam is made with silicon and magnesium. 

This alloy has the highest corrosion resistance of all the aluminums that are heat treated. 

It is  widely used because of its wide ranging mechanical properties that make it readily machinable and weldable.

We use these all the time for home elevators so we keep them in stock.

We have full length 25 foot beams or we can cut your beam to any length.
