A stunning Scandinavian lilac/blue glass paperweight.

Made by FM Konstglas of Ronneby, Sweden, and still bears the original factory labels.

Made from neodymium glass (also known as alexandrite glass), which changes color according to different lighting conditions. It appears lilac in natural sunlight and smoky blue in fluorescent light (see pictures). This is due to the presence of neodymium oxide in the glass.

Vintage condition.  One small scratch.
