Application range

Product characteristics
NBR is a copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene, with excellent resistance to petroleum and non-polar solvents and good mechanical properties. The specific performance depends mainly on the content of the acrylic eye component, and products containing more than 50% acrylic eye have high resistance to mineral oil and fuel oil performance. However, elasticity and permanent compression deformation at low temperatures are poor, while low acrylic rubber has good low temperature resistance but reduced Low acrylic rubber has good low temperature resistance but reduced oil resistance at high temperatures.
Advantages.
- Good resistance to oil, water, solvents and high pressure oils.
- Good compression change properties, abrasion and tensile properties.
- Used to make rubber parts for fuel and lubricant tanks.
- Rubber parts for use in fluid media such as petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, gasoline, water, silicone grease, silicone oil, diester-based lubricants, glycol-based hydraulic fluids, etc.
Disadvantages.
- Not suitable for use in polar solvents such as ketones, ozone, nitrocarbons, MEK and chloroform.
- Not resistant to ozone, weathering and air aging.
