3 Piece 1.25" Prime Focus Adapter Set
Includes T-Ring, T-Adapter & Clear Dust Filter.

This set will directly connect your camera body to a standard 1.25" Telescope Port.
The included clear glass Dust Filter will protect your sensor from the elements.

"Prime Focus" Imaging is the purest form in that the Telescope becomes the Camera Lens. The camera is not fitted with a lens and the telescope is not fitted with an eyepiece. The camera image plane is placed at the “prime” focal point of the telescope. This method offers the widest, brightest fields, moderate magnification and shortest exposure times. Typically used for imaging nebulae, galaxies and other large deep sky objects. To use this method your camera must have a removable lens (DSLR or MIrrorless models). In this method it is important to protect the camera sensor from dust as the Camera Lens is removed. Any dust on the sensor will be magnified and show on every picture. This is extremely important on Reflectors because they are wide open to the air and also with Refractors as they will "pump" air and dust into the camera when the Focuser is racked in.

Available for:
Nikon (F) Mount DSLR
Sony E Mount (MIrrorless)
Canon EOS (EF/EF-S) Mount DSLR
Micro 4/3 (Olympus/Panasonic Mirrorless)

Depending on Telescope type an additional part may be required to reach infinity focus.
(See Setup Diagram)

For Example:
-SCTs/Maks typically have plenty of focus range and no additional parts should be required.
-Reflectors (Netwonians/Dobs) will require the use of a Short 2X Barlow Lens to reach focus.
-Refractors will require the use of a short Extension Tube to reach focus (replaces Diagonal).

Ask about other Cameras or our 2" UltraWide Adapters for Telescopes with 2" Ports.

Not for "Spotting Scopes" or Microscopes!
For Astronomical type telescopes accepting slip-in 1.25" Eyepieces only.
