A George 111 Walnut rectangular tea caddy with hinged dome lid and metal lined boxes . The box is, as you see it, generally good with some wear to the inner box linings. To bring it back to glory it needs five dome topped pins and a bit of elbow grease to polish the brass. I never polish brass as i prefer the age related patina. In this case it probably would benefit from a good rub with some brasso but that has to be your decision, after all if i polished it and you (like me) prefer the patina you cant "unpolish it"  So here it is a good honest antique that hasnt been made to look as if it was made last week.
