HERE WE HAVE: A vintage (c1990) lava lamp made by Lava-Simplex Internationale in the USA. The lamp's base and top cap are silver tone. The liquid inside the canister is clear and the "lava" is purple. Comes in what looks to be the original box; the box is marked with a copyright year of 1990. Box has an old Spencer's Gifts sticker on it.
I flipped the lava canister upside down to dislodge a collection of it at the bottom, so there are a lot of little bits in the photos that weren't there when it was running beforehand.
CONDITION: Acceptable, working condition! This took at least an hour to heat up enough to look like lava. It comes with a bulb (can't guarantee how much life it has), but maybe a new/stronger bulb would get it going faster? There are some color loss spots/scratches to the base and the cap. The cap has some discoloration on the top as well. The glass has bubbles in it (fromt production) and a couple surface scratches. Box has some dings/dents, color loss, discoloration, and edge wear/tears. The box has an original price sticker on it as well as a Spencer's gifts sticker. Will come as shown, so please see photos!
