 Cadovius gründete 1945 sein eigenes Unternehmen Royal System und hatte 1948 die Idee für sein "Royal System Shelving Unit". Diese Idee, eine Aufbewahrungslösung mit maximaler Grundfläche und modularem Aufbau zu bauen, machte ihn zu einem der bekanntesten Designer des dänischen Mid-Century Modern Design. Sein Regalsystem ist auch heute noch sehr beliebt

  Cadovius founded his own company, Royal System, in 1945 and had the idea for his "Royal System Shelving Unit" in 1948.
