Kodak No 4 Cartridge Camera, serial No 26987
Leather covered wooden body with fold down front that forms the baseboard for the lens standard. This is an early model of the No 4 Cartridge Kodak camera with mahogany lens standard and brass fittings. The serial number is 26987 (front hinge line). The leather covering is de-laminating. The handle shows wear. I show you two views of this Handle. One normal. The other shows the inscription of Kodak Rochester, New York Co. All moving parts are operational, but keep in mind that it is a fragile and very old item that needs to be handled with care.
It has been stored for several decades and the leather has NO odor. The Bellows does not show any holes and appears in good condition, PLEASE NOTE: THIS CAMERA IS UN-TESTED!! I AM NOT AN EXPERT ON THIS TYPE OF CAMERA AND CAN ONLY DESCRIBE WHAT I SEE JUST AS YOU SEE IN MY PICTURES.
YOU WOULD BE VERY HARD PRESSED TO FIND A NICE CAMERA LIKE THIS IN THIS CONDITION.
THE ONLY THING I COULD NOT PERFORM IS OPENING THE BACK OF THIS CAMERA. I CAN ONLY SHOW YOU WHAT THE BACK LOOKS LIKE.
