All our listed parts were pulled from wrecks around the time of production at Mitchs Auto in Detroit where they were wrapped and put on shelves. Mitchs was owned and operated by Mitch who took pride in saving every piece that was salvageable. Mitch took pride in recycling late model vehicles. Before car-part went live a part would sit until called upon. After Car-part went live they took inventory of all members, but never listed a part with no price like it does now saying “call“ so parts were lost.

Sadly Mitch decided to close his doors for medical reasons and I have acquired much of the inventory from days of old to recent days and I am proud to save these parts. A portion of every sale goes to St Jude’s Cancer Research. The higher the dollar the more is donated.

We are located far from Mitches auto and saving parts was quite expensive, but I feel it makes Mitch feel good that parts are still being made available to those who need them. I regret never moving over there to work with Mitch and his family.
