The Lucky Craft LV 500 Lipless Crankbait definitely stands alone. These three inch, 3/4 ounce baits have the look, sound and size that fish find irresistible. The brass and glass rattles create a loud, unique sound, and the forward weight design makes these baits cast like bullets. Equipped to handle depths down to 15 feet, the natural shape, tight wobble, and vibrating action unique to the LV series is like a dinner bell to unsuspecting fish. Fish these baits one time and you will realize why the LV 500s are head and shoulders above other lipless crankbaits. Whether you fish the clear waters of the West or the stained water of a Southern slough, with Lucky Craft's unique and incredibly lifelike finishes, you can be assured that there is a Lucky Craft LV 500 Lipless Crankbait that's right for you.
Good quality sharp hooks that hook and hold fish right out of the package. I'm particularly loving the Magma Heat up Gill pattern for the stained and tannic waters near me.
This listing is for LV-max 500's only but I've included some pictures of me holding a Lucky Craft LV 200, LV 300 and an LV Max 500  from left to right from my tackle box so you can get a sense of the similarities and differences in profiles of these awesome fish producers.  I drew horizontal bars on the LV-200 last time I was out to imitate the year class of white bass in that body of water that the largemouth and smallmouth seemed to be feeding on.  From the belly side, the LV 200 and LV 500 are almost identical in terms of thickness and length.  From the top there are some slight differences so they catch water differently.  The weights are all very slightly different and of course so are the sound profiles. The LV 300 is a bit thicker and does have a different action.  Check out my separate listings of the discontinued LV-200's and LV-300's - also truly awesome baits with distinctive strike provoking sound profiles.  I go into detail on the sound profiles in those separate listings because those versions are less well known in the U.S.
Weights:
LV-200         18.5 grams (listed as 5/8 oz.)
LV-300          21.5 grams (listed as 3/4 oz.)
LV Max 500  23 grams  (listed as 3/4 oz.)
When possible, I tried to capture the right light in the pictures of the ghost models and the Aurora patterns so you can get a sense of the beautiful color patterns, as well as the internal workings and the plate mechanism on the 200.  Pretty cool.
Best of luck on the water this season! Enjoy!
