Hello, you are bidding on a beautiful vintage Jessica McClintock Gunne Sax black label maxi dress with gorgeous tapestry and cotton lace trimming design. It is a wine color with the tapestry being many colors and a distinct pattern. The cream color cotton detail adds impact along the skirt, collar and sleeves. An added charming detail is that the long cuffs of the sleeves fit tightly below the full puff sleeve design and have zippers to keep them tightly closed.
It is a petite item, probably a 7 and is in superb vintage condition. I have just noticed that a few stitches about an inch in length have pulled from the right underam of the sleeve and would need restitching. It is something that I should not do and will leave to the buyer. Also, the pull part of the back zipper closure piece is missing, but the zipper moves easily along its track with the main zipper piece.
The photos are not quite true to color depending upon your color monitor, but there is no fading or staining anywhere. The trimming is a crisp light cream color. The dress color is more of a mulberry or raspberry color than a purple.

Per her instructions, the waist measures 12 inches from side seam to side seam. The bust measures just under 16 inches from the underarm seam to the underarm seam. I hope this helps describe the size of this dress more clearly).
