The No. 216 is a high end, Professional quality "tool for hand setting grommets

The 216 offers an increased weight and stability,

compared to it's little brother .... the lighter weight No. 235 Hobbyest/ Home Setter.

This more substantial setter offers a perfectly hand set grommet with much less effort

The advantage thie No. 216 heavy duty setter offers is much appreciated by professionals

and any one who has alot of grommets to set!

If you have a large number of grommets to set , you will find the No.216 setter to require less force making your completed project a much less strenious task.

Osborne grommet dies are numbered to correspond with standard size grommets. The dies are guaranteed to set the proper size and style Osborne grommets.

Sets plain rim grommets and washers. Sizes 00 thru 5 are CNC machined from high grade tool steel, while sizes 6 & up are a malleable iron casting. Properly machined and hardened.

The finest industrial grommet dies made.

For best results, use only Osborne grommets and washers G1, B1, N1 & SS1 with corresponding sizes. GROMMETS NOT INCLUDED .

For Setting Stainless steel Grommets , C.S. Osborne & Co. setter No. 215 for Stainless Steel Grommets is recommended instead of this one . Stainless steel grommets are very hard and the added weight and hardness of the No. 215 , make setting them possible with less force than this No. 216 requires.

Male sits flat on base for perfectly set plain grommets .

Does not set spurred grommets and washers .

The use of an Osborne wooden mallet or

rawhide hammer is recommended. ( NOT INCLUDED )
