The bellows looks great and light tight. The camera opens and closes as it should.
Focusing smooth and front standard latch holds the standard in right position perfectly.
This camera is VERY strong without any backlash and has a lot of potential for good
long work, of course if you know what you are doing and you are not a "Great American
Photographer" or "Perfectionist".
Kalart rangefinder clean and seems to work accurately. Double image clean and contrast.
The ground glass is original and in good used condition.
Ground glass hood open and close as it should.
The set is approximately 70 years old and still in good working condition. All fixtures and
screws work and tight as they should. No missing parts. All movements work.
Focal plane shutter works, as far as I know. I cocked the lever and it was working for four
exposures: A and B, but I can not guarantee you an accuracy.
The curtains works and they look clean without a wrinkles.
The camera is about 70 years old. If you don't understand it and expect to get a
new camera skip all my auctions and we save time and aggravation.
German lens Agfa Doppel Anastigmat Helostar 4.5/10.5cm has an accurately working
shutter with a right sound at all speeds. But I didn't use any testing equipment.
The glass is clean with no haze, fog, spots etc. and it may have 1-2 small wipe marks
on the front from normal usage. The lens is completely usable and in better condition,
then many old antiques German camera lenses with the same age.
