I will start with the dial is original to this watch though it is an early reconditioned genuine Rolex dial as the original condition was badly worn and it was done exactly as shown here that was factory issued. This is a well serviced Rolex bubble back timepiece from the year 1943. This is a thick gold-filled top with the famous Oyster screw in stainless steel back. From lug to lug this Rolex case is 40mm and from side to side less the crown and the case tube it is 34mm. The crown is gold, and it is the original Rolex screw down Oyster crown. The movement is nice and again properly serviced and it is a caliber in house Rolex movement 11 N/A  with 18 clean and inspected ruby jewels. This is Rolex certified Chronometer movement; it is simply a great timekeeper. The crystal has been replaced and the hands are original and left exactly as found never altered. The band is leather at 19mm in width. Rolex got this one right as cosmetically it is amazing and stunning!
