This Rare AMERICAN ELECTROLA Model DXC-100 AM/FM Shortwave Receiver was tested and is a good Working Unit.  The item was connected to power and the word USA 1 came up on the LED display. The power button was pressed and a radio station was found. The headphone output was tested by connecting some headphones it worked as expected. Different stations were selected both in the AM/FM bandwidth and the radio worked like a champ, speaker appears to be in great physical condition aswell. This beautiful piece of Americana will be a great decorative and conversation piece in any home.

Note - The radio has minor panel separation on the box enclosure. It does close when pressed together so some simple wood glue should do the job. Also the speaker material appears to have loosened on one side but this could easily be fixed with glue or by an expert. Power supply is not included with sale.
