I own an advertising specialty company - now in our 45th year I am happy to report - and worked in the industry for many years prior to establishing my own firm.   For many years my best client was what was formerly known as "The Bell System".   Of course after divestiture, it was broken up into what was generally called the "Baby Bells" - and later morphed into many variations.

So over the years we worked very closely with Western Electric, AT&T, Southern Bell, BellSouth, Lucent Technologies, OFS, Avaya, etc.   I collected many over-run samples, one-or-a-kind spec samples, and the likes.

I am now selling much of that collection via eBay.

Here are 14 different over-run samples from orders I sold AT&T in the 1980's.   although over 30 years old, all are essentially in as new condition.   They have been kept stored in closed bins in one of our sample rooms.

And the fortunate recipient will receive:
*   Shelton Tool Company was among our favorite suppliers of small tools used for advertising purposes.  Here is their famous mini-tool kit featuring five interchangeably blades in a rotating top handle.   The AT&T The right Choice logo is in white on the black base.   U.S.A. made.
*   Morco was another outstanding supplier, and here is their rain gauge as used by AT&T Communications long ago.   it is 4.5" high, and still in its original gift box.  Also U.S.A. made.
*   The blue "Magic-Grip" is very useful for many purposes.   This has the AT&T The Right Choice logo and tag line.  Made in the U.S.A.
*   Rulers are always helpful, and this 7" version with the AT&T logo in blue was U.S.A. manufactured as well.
*   We sold AT&T many golf related gifts.   Here is a logoed Spaulding Kro-Flite golf ball.   U.S.A. made.
*   These two tee & marker kits contain 4 wood tees, each imprinted AT&T, along with the imprinted marker and logoed cover.  U.S.A. made.
*   Wall note caddy in white with blue logo also was made in the U.S.A.
*   A company called Anixter was a good customer of AT&T, and we frequently supplied co-logoed merchandise.   This magnet, 4.5" wide, was custom molded and very thick and strong.   U.S.A. made.
*   AT&T also liked a variety of writing instruments.   This combination felt tip and highlighter was popular.  Made in the U.S.A.
*   The flip pen in white and red with blue logo is cleverly made.   To open, you flip and twist.  Made in the U.S.A.
*   Woodcase pencils were frequently used for school programs.   This example carried "The right Choice" tag line.   U.S.A. made.
*   And here is the only item among the 14 not made in America.  It is the Pentel self feeding lead mechanical pencil.  This product was made in japan.
*   Small bags were popular.  The white one is 12" x 10" with 4" gusset. It is double wall and has a plastic snap closure top.   Made in the U.S.A.
*   The clear bag is 10" x 12" with a drawstring closure.   U.S.A. made as well.

As you can see, these have never been used, and in outstanding condition.   As the pens still contain original refills, if used rather than displayed, new refills are needed.
