The disc has scratches on it from play and wear.  I have tested the game on the USA based console and it worked just fine.  You don't necessarily need to have a PAL version or UK console.  This will play on USA or PAL consoles.  I have attached screen shots to show you that the game works even with scratches and that it says "PAL" version on the back.  The front of the case has the plastic cover torn on the bottom as shown.  Please review all photos and reach out with questions prior to purchase.
