Ford Capri 3.0L S in Black. Made From Lego.

This is my own bespoke design which I have been developing for a couple of years and have now reached this point.

The model is built primarily using lego. The pieces that aren’t lego are the RS 4 spoke wheel inserts, the mirrors, rear spoiler, and the stickers.

The model has a detachable roof to view the interior.

The wheels are the 66727 lego Speed Champion ones with my own design and 3D printed wheel inserts painted to suit the period wheels.

The mirrors are also designed and 3D printed by me and are held in place by the windscreen.

The water slide decals are all hand made by me, and also the stickers using various coloured self adhesive vinyl. Registration numbers will be added after purchase if required, just message me the details and I’ll get them fitted prior to posting.

So maybe to try to justify the price a bit, there is a lot of time goes into 1 model, and the Lego is expensive to buy too. There is no Lego kit in existence where I can buy all the combination of parts I need for 1 model, the parts are all sourced from 3rd party lego stores on internet sites such as Bricklink or Brick Owl.

I am a Ford enthusiast myself and an amateur Lego designer/builder, and my motivation came from the desire to build the cars I love at the Speed Champions scale, more to follow!!!
