Antique paperback cursive handwriting book in good pre-owned condition.  

This would have been a state issued, elementary school textbook. This was from a family in Iowa, so most likely it is an Iowa textbook. However, I cannot confirm this through research.

There is a name "Phillis Sheeder" is in the upper right-hand corner of the cover in pencil. The place on the cover which would have said what state series this is has been erased and the paper is roughed up going right from the blue ink "S". 

The back cover has blue ink pen marks tracing over the letters U - Z and some light ink smudges near the A - C. There is no other writing in this book on the inside. No rips, stains or smells. The paper has the appropriate level of patina for a book of almost 80 years old. Please see all of the pictures. They are part of the description.
