Waist:  Top of jeans, laid flat, measured side-to-side. Measurement doubled.  

Inseam:  From crotch seam, following seam all the way down to ankle.   

Front Rise: From crotch seam, following zipper to top of jeans.  

Back Rise: Back side of jeans. From crotch seam to top.  

Thigh: One inch below crotch seam, side-to-side.  

Knee: Twelve to thirteen inches below crotch seam, side-to-side.
