Units are paintable, standard finish is an off white colour. They can be sprayed or painted with a brush.

The mounting of this speaker is designed for the wires to be in the wall, so they come through the rectangular hole in the metal plate. If you are just running the speaker wire down the wall, then you will have to chase the wire into the plaster, so it runs behind the plate. This is designed to be as flush to the wall as possible.
