A nice Antique Swaine & Co of  London Antler, Leather & Silver Riding Crop.

It requires a little tlc & renovation as a silver ferrel had been lost in history where the antler handle joins the shaft & leather.

The Antler handle has nice cross hatching on both the underside, upper side & kick to help to close gates.

In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. The shaft shows plenty of wear where the varnish has worn off through usage. The leather hanging strap has also been lost in history but you could fit a new piece. The hall marks on the remaining silver ferrel are to worn to make out.

The upper leather work is a nice & unusual touch, as is the silver Swaine & Co London badge.

It's approx 27 3/4" long in total length including the handle.
