This is a very optimistic and joyful plate. Imagine that a heavy storm is over. Dark blue and gray clouds are still in the sky, but a first Sun ray just looked through a gap between them and reminded about better days. In this plate I used a "woven ribbons" technique of glass fusing.  When you look at it you clearly see that horizontal ribbons are woven with vertical ribbons. Each ribbon is a combination of colorful stripes. In this plate I used two main colors: Red and Blue groupped in the opposite corners. And in between is a gradual mix of steel blue, gray and orange colors. The edges are ground and polished. 

This is a decorative plate, but it can be used for fruits, salads, cookies.  The plate is food safe, but we do not recommend using a microwave and dishwasher due to the nature of the fused glass.
