BBC library records were for production use only and were never issued to the general public.
They are generally pressed on good quality Vinyl of varying thickness.
Many of the records were re-issued over the years and they can appear as both Shellac and Vinyl
pressings with different label types. Depending on the date of the original recording they will require
different stylus sizes for accurate playback, ranging from LP through to 78 RPM.
CAUTION: Don't play Vinyl 78 RPM records with steel needles!
