MEDAL OF LIFESAVING with New Jersey State Seal.  Medallion part of medal measures about 1 5/8" by 1 1/2" wide.  Overall length from the top of the ribbon to the bottom of the medallion is about 3 1/8".   Medal comes in a felt commendation/presentation box as shown.  Felt box measures 4 1/2" by 3 1/2" and makes this medal a nice award for a formal presentation ceremony. Medal attaches to a uniform with a safety catch type pin on the back side of the ribbon.

The gold ribbon is used to represent the gold flag of the State of New Jersey.
