Rare and original WW2 GERMAN MILITARY map of "RAW MATERIALS" to be found across an area of the USSR which includes TOROPEZ etc.
The map is headed "Nur für den Dienstgebrauch" which is equivalent to a "RESTRICTED" British military map.
The purpose of such maps was to assist the military in seizing the assets and materials necessary to further the German War effort.
Printed in 1943.
In very good condition.
From a small collection of similar maps used as a post-war teaching resource and recently sold off by Edinburgh University - hence ink stamping to margin. (Following both World Wars, the government distributed excess stocks of Allied maps, along with captured enemy examples, to various national institutions such as libraries, museums, universities etc.)
