Offered here is a hard-to-find blue translucent glass elephant ink blotter.  It bears a "Made in Japan" mark on the edge.

Condition:  Very good.  There is a 1/2" line running down the side of the body (perpendicular to the base).  I don't know if it's a manufacturing flaw or a crack.  It is visible to the naked eye and I can feel it with my fingernail but not the tip of my finger.  It looks like a black dog hair!  I've included close-ups; feel free to contact me if you have questions!
