MCM GE MODEL NO. 7272 Art Deco Lucite Mantle Alarm Clock Vintage 1950s.

This is an Art Deco Vintage circa 1950's General Electric Clear Lucite Model 7272 Mantle Clock with alarm, it has a Lucite housing, brass facing gold minute and hour hands, gold double sweep/second hand (sweep hand really moves nice) the alarm works but does not stop ringing unless you turn it off.  The  measurements are 4"  tall x  10" long x 2" width/depth.  The back reads: GENERAL ELECTRIC GE MODEL 7272 ON ALARM OFF SA UL VOLTS 115 CYC 60 W2 ASHLAND, MASS. MADE IN U.S.A. The clock works great but not the alarm, the cord has electrical tape wrapped around it, no chips, but has tint cracks within the lucite.
