The Rap/Techno/Dance QCard is your key to writing, performing and recording music that keeps people moving! Dozens of killer loops are presented in various styles, with the individual samples also included for fills and breaks. There are even programs with loops stacked across the keyboard, so that building a funky rhythm track is as easy as holding down a few keys. The sounds on this 4 Megabyte card include vintage drum machines, grungy horn stabs, fat analog basses, slammin' vocal samples and funky drum grooves for the hottest rap and dance sounds.

The "Rap Techno Dance" QCard was first available as a "QuadraCard" and was one of the original expansion cards produced for Alesis' first synthesizer, the QuadraSynth. It is a 4MB PCMCIA ROM expansion card featuring 128 new Programs and 100 new Mixes focused on the genres that the card takes its name from, but it can also be used for many other genres. Although the focus is on Dance and Rap, this card contains excellent patches for genres such as Reggae, Lounge and Ambient for example. And there are plenty of waveforms that can be modified for other genres as well. Also featured are many classic drum loops, as it was common in the 1990s to sample from old vinyl records.

The Rap Techno Dance card is unique as it is the ONLY card ever produced by Alesis as both a QCard AND a QuadraCard. This fact is of no importance UNLESS you own an original Quadrasynth or original S4 module because using QCards in the original "non-Plus" version of the Quadrasynth and S4 requires that a special "Preset Bank" be loaded in the User Bank BEFORE you can use the QCard. But the QuadraCards can be used in the original Quadrasynth/S4 WITHOUT loading this special "Preset Bank", so if you own an original Quadrasynth or S4 the Rap Techno Dance QuadraCard will work much better for you than the Rap Techno Dance QCard.

If you own an original Quadrasynth or S4 please let me know when you make payment because I have BOTH the Rap Techno Dance QCard AND the Rap Techno Dance QuadraCard in stock (there is an option to send the seller a message when you make payment, or you can simply send me a separate e-mail after making payment). If you let me know that you have the original Quadrasynth, I will send you a QuadraCard instead of a QCard. If I am not notified otherwise, I will ship the newer QCard version.

The Alesis Rap Techno Dance QCard is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. Also included are the original Alesis Instruction Booklet/Patch Charts and the Protective Jewel Case.
