cheek camera (spy camera) Ch. Hiekel. Around 1895. It bears the maker's plate: “Charles Hiekel 138 Faub. St. Honoré – Paris”. 9x12 format. Manufactured in varnished mahogany with burgundy leather bellows. The open device can be placed in a “ready-made” leather case bag, specially designed to hide it and give it the function of a spy device. The camera has a lens bearing the "Hiekel" mark, mounted on an "Eclipse" type rotary shutter. Accompanied by five double shuttered mahogany frames, each taking place in a felt pouch. This whole set can be stored in a gray canvas transport bag lined with fleece.

You are invited to visit us at 16 rue de Vaugirard in the 6th arrondissement, Paris, between the Jardin du Luxembourg and Saint Germain des Prés. We are open from 2pm to 7pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
