     adults. A co-worker recommended this light and it's helped me out BIG time! It requires 3 AAA batteries. Just remember that you 

     won't be able to see EVERY kid's veins depending on their physiology, but this light does an amazing job.

   see veins within about 3/4 cm of the flashlight border. My unit has a vein finder light, and it works a little better than this due to the shape  

   and setup of the light.
