Description: For the February 20, 1970 game against the Syracuse Blazers of the EHL (Eastern Hockey League).  Only two years earlier on February 24, 1968, these two teams combined for a 16-15 score which was the highest ever recorded in the EHL (Eastern Hockey League).  For this game, the Jersey Devils tied 4-4 against the visiting Syracuse Blazers.  Everything is scored correctly with penalties noted (something even the newspapers would not have had) and included is the original hand-out scorecard/hockey notes.  The key player was Ed Kea featured during his Rookie Season and Ray Adduono.  Because it is dated, this was the last game with Lou Jankowski as head coach as he resigned on February 20, 1970 and Wayne Kitchen took over as player-coach.  A great piece of early New Jersey Devils hockey history and absolutely one-of-a-kind.

Pedigree: A great selection from the collection of the late hockey icon and World War II hero Albert Joseph “Woody Ryan.”  Woody Ryan, who passed away in 1993, was a hockey and Baltimore Clippers legend since he was first a player and then the director or manager of promotions for decades.  Originally a goalie with the team, Woody Ryan played hockey into his 40s and was so well liked that there was a Woody Ryan Day to exclusively honor him in 1986.  He amassed one of the finest collections of hockey programs, media guides, yearbooks, signed line-up cards, and other essential pieces of sports memorabilia.
