Description: These beads have been in storage at least 15 years. Tested by my jeweler and determined to be sterling silver. They are actually glass and lined with silver very similar to mercury glass. They are lightweight and very bright, and resist tarnish because the silver is on the inside. 5mm long. It's the whole mini hank. 

Wear: Slight signs of wear are considered typical for authentic vintage pieces, such as light surface scratches or patina. This type of normal wear attests to an item's age and adds to its vintage charm and character.  Many "old stock" stones are now considered rare or hard to obtain because of their quality and/or origin.
