Up for sale is my Dave Smith Instruments (Sequential Circuits) Tetra, a 4-Voice Prophet polyphonic synth like a scaled down desktop / portable version of the DSI Prophet '08. In great condition overall and in working order, have used it for many years and it sounds great! Some knobs show some signs of wear, see photos for details, but it doesn't affect the performance. Early serial number!
Even though it has limited knobs / real time controls, it's not too difficult to scroll through the parameters to create a sound. It does have 4 real time controls at the bottom - Pitch, Cut Off, Resonance, Attack, Decay/Release - so you can still do some real time jamming regardless which parameter menu you are in. There's a button for Unison mode to to create a 4 voice stacked monophonic sound.
I'm going to miss this unit, as it is quite fun to quickly dial up a sound and tweak it enough to get something interesting quickly. I also have the Prophet '08 so I don't really need both. These units have become sought after, as they create that iconic SCI Prophet sound but in such a small form factor.
Comes as-is without the original box, manual or power supply. This is how I purchased it so I'm selling it in the same condition.
