Gaziano and Girling "Cambridge" Oxfords, Cherry Red leather, on the 'DG 70' last;
Excellent condition, purchased in 2012 (delivered in January 2013) from G&G showroom on Saville Row (when they were in Chittleboroughs, downstairs);
You will know what you're looking at if you're interested in these shoes, so here are the relevant facts:
- MTO, in 'F' width, on the DG 70 'smart rounded' last
- Left shoe: size 7 UK
- Right shoe: size 6.5 UK
- Shoe trees are the same size (7 UK), as G&G recommended
No-one has two feet the same size; I would recommend these to someone at size 7 UK who wants a little more 'grip' in the heel cup on their right foot. I am a 7 UK normally but found going down a half size in the right foot better positioned my foot in the shoe;
Leather is supple and properly nourished, with a lovely built-up patina, and high military-style natural polish build-up on the cap and heel. Plenty of life in the original single Oak Bark soles with fiddle waist. Wonderful condition and I have lovingly cared for these shoes for over 10 years. Wear as per the photos; of note, there is a scratch that cut into the leather on the toe box of one shoe, which has been filled with wax and polished over countless times. Happened closer to 8 or 9 years ago;
Smoke free home;
Comes with original G&G shoe bags and G&G Natural (unfinished) shoe trees;
Beautiful shoes and in more recent years I've probably worn them once or twice a year, if at all. Having a clear-out so time to go to a better home;

The Cambridge model has disappeared from the ready-to-wear offering and it appears are only available now as MTO; I paid £710+£108 (for trees) + VAT in 2013.
