This dropper post is the first and only dropper post on the market that features the patented REVIVE valve, which allows the seat post to be bled and reset in just a few seconds.
The REVIVE has a fundamentally very simple hydraulic system based on an open oil bath. Other supports separate oil and air using a floating piston. The problem with using a floating piston is that a 100% seal must be ensured, because if air migrates past this piston to the oil side, the seat post will start to bounce undesirably instead of locking. In practice, no seal can guarantee 100% sealing and so many supports have to be serviced early in order to be vented.
The REVIVE does not require this separating piston and can be reset within a few seconds in the event of an emergency (e.g. if the support is operated overhead) without having to remove it.
