Here we have a lovely antique solid silver agate & amethyst dirk brooch. The brooch measures a quarter inch by two inches and is all set in solid silver. This brooch is really lovely and depicts a dirk, which is inset with some flat cut & cabouchon real scottish agate of blue lace agate. The brooch then has some lovely early engravings & to the top is inset with faceted faux amethyst. The brooch has a pin and Cclasp working well & has a full set of english hallmarks for Birmingham silver & 1911 and makers mark of ALLd for adie & lovekin & just has wear associted with age & just needs a polish, see pics. This really is a lovely antique scottish brooch in very good origional complete condition and such a lovely quality example of these.
