The origins and the name
Born in Nkongsamba, Cameroon in 1966. Lives and works in Ghent, Belgium and Yaoundé, Cameroon. His work is characterized by extreme variability: it is mobile, elusive towards pre-established schemes, heterogeneous.
Already starting from the transformation of his name into a feminine one, the artist claims a duality as a resistance to identification and definition. Always closely linked to the idea of travel and getting in touch with what is other than oneself.
