The GKTech weld in K frame/caster rod plates has been designed to help brace one of, if not the most necessary area on your S-chassis. Caster rods put an immense amount of load on the K frame and the K frame itself flexes under load a visually noticeable amount. Our weld in plates will help eliminate this which will result in better overall handling and steering feedback. Will this fit my car? We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under vehicle compatibility. If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit. Do you make these to suit other cars? We only sell the parts listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it. Sorry. However, we do sell the plates for S13/180sx as seen here: https://au.gktech.com/s13-180sx-k-frame-caster-mount-weld-in-reinforcement-plates What's the advantage of using the GKTech weld reinforcement plates? Although not as common as broken rear subframes, the front k-frame/caster brackets do break from flex from time to time. A simplebut effective way to brace the front bracket ensuring no flex and better driving response through the front end. What modifications are required, is this hard to fit? No modifications are required, simply just remove the front k-frame/caster bracket and weld the plates in. Is there anything else needed for installation? You will need a welder. In terms of the plates they will arrive as shown in the product photo. Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take? Yes, provided you have welding experience. Welding in of the kit should take around 15 minutes. Can I use these plates in conjunction with your under engine bash plate? Yes, you sure can. The K frame plates don't sit below the K frame so there is no issue at all.
