The 2017/18 version covers the whole of  Western Europe. The navigation data on the 2017/18 version covers over 8 million kilometres of road throughout Europe.
In Eastern Europe there is full coverage of Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and now Romania and Montenegro too.
Coverage of the detailed road network has been extended in the following countries: Bulgaria: +5 percent, Serbia: +1 percent.
The 2017/18 version features 721,000 towns and communities.

Precise navigation to the required house number expanded. There is, for the most part, full house number coverage in central and northern European countries, while coverage has been improved in the following countries: France: +2 percent, Poland: +3 percent, Portugal: +13 percent, Romania: +10 percent, Sweden: +11 percent.
Over 2.2 million key points of interest are featured on the DVD, including filling stations, car parks, museums, restaurants and hospitals. There are around 340,000 more POIs here than on the previous version. Some 191,604 restaurants and 43,557 sports centres have been added to the new 2015/2016 version.
If required, the navigation system will also show the user the quickest route to 3203 Mercedes-Benz service outlets.
Map updates include millions of changes, e.g. new roads, crossroads, bypasses, junctions and motorway slip roads and exits.
One section of road may feature a whole range of attributes such as house numbers, one-way routing, number of lanes or turning restrictions. All of these attributes and the vast number of points of interest are updated constantly.

This disk is for the DVD based navigation systems (NOT for car models year 2009 with hard disk) in the new A class, B class, facelifted C class (built after 04/2004), facelifted CLK class (built after 06/2004), new ML, GL, R. Also supported are the smart forfour, Sprinter after 01/06 and Vito/Viano after 04/2006.
It has coverage for the following countries:

If your current map disk just covers 1-3 countries, then you have the CD based system
and this disk is "NOT" suitable for you.

THIS DVD DISC IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH UPDATES OF NTG-2 SYSTEM
OLDER THAN 5 YEARS i.e.2010-2011.
If your navigation system has not been updated in the last 5 years, you should install first version 12 2010-20011,  before the latest version 17/18.
