Malabar spinach is a beautiful and nutritious vine that can be grown using the following planting instructions:

1. Choosing the planting location - Malabar spinach prefers a hot and humid climate, so choose a location that receives full sunlight and has well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter.

2. Sowing the seeds - Malabar spinach can be sown directly into the soil or started indoors. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep, and space them 6-12 inches apart in rows that are spaced 18-24 inches apart.

3. Watering - Malabar spinach requires consistent moisture to grow well. Water the plants regularly to keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Water in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid heat stress.

4. Trellising the vines - Malabar spinach is a climbing vine that can grow up to 12 feet long, so provide a strong trellis or support for the vines to grow on. As the vines grow, train them to climb up the support.

5. Fertilization - Apply a balanced fertilizer every 4-6 weeks to encourage strong and healthy growth.

6. Harvesting - Malabar spinach can be harvested once the leaves and stem tips are large enough to use, usually around 60-70 days after planting. Harvest by cutting the outer leaves with scissors an inch or so above the soil surface. This encourages new growth and prolongs the harvest season.

By following these planting instructions, you can enjoy a bountiful supply of tasty and nutritious Malabar spinach that can be used in soups, salads, curries, and stir-fries.
