An original WW2 USAAF "BURMA CAMPAIGN" AERONAUTICAL CHART with "RESTRICTED" LAYER OVERPRINT which was produced by the 'Army Mapping Service' for the US Army Air Forces.

The original base sheet was printed in September 1944, and was only issued when the "RESTRICTED" purple overprinted layer was added in October 1945, just a few weeks after the Japanese Surrender.

Entitled "MOUNT VICTORIA", the chart features the IRRAWADDY RIVER and the border with INDIA.

The back of the map contains various symbol keys etc.

Will be shipped as per its existing fold lines.

In good condition for its age and service use.
