I found this dear little Mid-century stool two streets over at a Beverly MA yard sale. It's been "Yankee thrifted" from a sturdy oak frame and the remains of a lawn chair. The result is a classic example of mid-century New England ingenuity. OK, so here are the details:
- 14.25" in length
- 11.75" in height
- 11.25" in width
- In good strong shape - very slightly uneven on the floor, but the joints and frame are solid
- The strapping is a bit grubby on top - I haven't attempted to clean it
- The oak grain is clear and visible
I'm spring cleaning! So there will be more paintings, ceramics, books, and other items added as I work from room to room. In the meantime, thank you for looking!
